CCRES is currently recruiting for Substitute Instructional Assistants to follow the 2019-2020 academic school year to support students within Kennett Consolidated School District located in Kennett Square, PA.  

 

Substitute Instructional Assistant position works with students under the direction of both the special education and regular education teachers.  Position primarily supports students with special needs that need physical and academic support.

Kennett Middle School – Monday through Friday, 7:10am-2:40pm

 

Daily Substitute Instructional Assistant position available…

 

Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center – 8:15am-3:45pm

Bancroft Elementary School - 8:15am-3:45pm

Greenwood Elementary School - 8:15am-3:45pm

New Garden Elementary School - 8:15am-3:45pm

Kennett Middle School – 7:10am-2:40pm

Kennett High School - 7:10am-2:40pm

 

Substitute Instructional Assistant Duties include:

-Under the direction regular education and special education teacher, implement IEP's, behavior plans, and progress monitoring systems
-Provider assistance to students in regular & special education classrooms in completing tasks assigned by teachers
-Assist the teacher in observing, recording and charting behavior
-Supervise children in the hallway, lunchroom and playground
-Assist the teacher in observing, recording and charting behavior
-Observe behavior and carries out behavior management activities

-Position schedule may vary depending upon school district and assignment.
